Seminars

Hamm Clinic offers a variety of educational opportunities to the professional mental health community. These opportunities include fellowships, annual seminars, and conferences. The seminars are for practicing clinicians and explore underlying emotional processes, the nature of the therapeutic relationship, and practical approaches to working with human behavior and emotions. Below are the dates and topics scheduled for the 2010 seminars. The cost of each seminar is $60.00 except where noted as *$95.00.  Student rate is $40 except where noted as *$75.

Hamm Clinic’s annual conference will be held Monday, October 11th from 8-4 at the St. Paul College. This year’s conference speaker will be Carla Leone, Ph.D.  Dr. Leone’s presentation is entitled, “An Intersubjective, Self Psychological Approach to Couples Therapy.  Dr. Leone is the author of three published papers on the application of self psychology to the treatment of couples and families and is a frequent presenter on these topics at national conferences.  She is the director of a small group private practice in the Chicago area and on the faculty of the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago.
