Research Tools
Currently, Hamm Clinic utilizes two main research measures:
- The Outcome Questionnaire (OQ-45.2) is given to clients at the initial intake appointment, at regular intervals during therapy, and when they terminate therapy. It is a relatively brief, self-report scale designed to measure client progress in therapy in four areas of functioning:
- Global assessment/quality of life
- Symptoms of psychological distress
- Interpersonal relationships
- Social role functioning (ability to work, go to school, and enjoy leisure activities)
- The Satisfaction Survey is a 10-item survey given to clients upon the completion of therapy. The survey includes a ‘written comments’ section for clients to provide a narrative about their treatment experience at the clinic.
