Dysthymia Study

The purpose of this study was to evaluate outcomes for those clients with a primary diagnosis of dysthymia, a long-standing lower-grade form of depression. The sample for this study consisted of 26 clients with a primary diagnosis of dysthymia who had complete sets of OQ data at intake and end of treatment. 74% of clients demonstrated clinically and statistically significant change, with only one client showing deterioration during treatment. Positive treatment changes were consistent across all domains measured by the OQ.
